OUR MISSION
We at Community Computers are helping children affected by underfunded schooling by providing them with technology to enhance their learning experiences. Our solution is to collect used technology from schools that no longer need them, fix any damaged parts, and redistribute them to schools that need them. Hopefully, you can help us to bring a brighter future to these children.
THE ISSUE
Due to the current global circumstances, online learning has become crucial to students' educations and futures. With many drastic changes, all schools find themselves in a stressful situation when adapting to the new virtual environment while providing students with a complete learning experience. Furthermore, many underprivileged schools do not have the resources to even begin this online process. These schools are mainly in Black and Latinx communities that are a result of systemic racism in the US. Our mission is to provide opportunities to these children to give them a fighting chance to rise above their struggles.
